4 ways to keep calm during the Election of 2020

2020 is a different year for everyone.  Proactively take it upon yourself to be prepared mentally:

  1. Be prepared for delayed results - There may not be a clear winner, plan a walk or read a book - preparing ahead of time will keep your stress level down.
  2. Double down on stress reducing habits - Continue to eat healthy and get plenty of rest.
  3. Replace scrolling with something nourishing - Unplug from the news.  Reach out and stay connected with family/friends over zoom.
  4. Look for signs of hope - For example: in the last debate, there was civility between both major candidates and they were communicating with each other.
