Grief Conversations is a live 30 minute virtual session with counselor Amy Monzingo, MS, LMHP, LMHC. Amy will share expert, compassionate guidance as she addresses some issues you have experienced or are currently experiencing on your grief journey.
Grief is unique to each of us and can be very isolating. Grief Conversations will focus on the positive aspects of connection, healing, and coping mechanisms.
Our conversation this month: "What do I do with my loved one's things?"
Amy says you may wonder how to handle possessions after your loved one has died. While there are some reasons for quickly going through possessions – such as needing to vacate a residence – you should know that there is no need to hurry in performing the task of going through possessions. Our conversation this month will focus on giving yourself permission to handle this task when you are ready to.
Whatever type of loss you've suffered, there's no right or wrong way to grieve. But by understanding the stages and types of grief, you can experience healthy ways to cope in order to move forward in your life. Please join us.
